Task 1 – Create a PowerPoint briefing with no more than 5 slides detailing the process, products, timing, players, and their interests involved in the Planning Phase of DoDs PPBE system.
Task 2 – Compare and contrast the PPBE planning phase to strategic planning required by Section 230 of OMB Circular A-11 as found in this site – OMB Circular A-11 Section 230.
Task 3 – Answer the following
– How is DoDs planning phase resource-constrained? Should it be?
– Should DoDs budgeteers be invited to participate in strategic planning?
– Are final plans produced in time to influence the DoDs program/budget build?
– Is there a feedback loop from budget/programs/execution back into DoDs plans? Should there be one?
