Monkey and thanks the elephant

Once in a green jungle, there lived a naughty monkey named Miko and a kind elephant named Thanks.

Miko loved jumping from tree to tree, but he was very careless. One day, while stealing mangoes, he slipped and fell into a deep muddy pit. He tried to climb out, but the walls were too slippery.

Miko shouted, “Help! Somebody help me!”

Thanks the elephant was passing by. He heard Mikos cries and ran to the pit. He saw Miko stuck in the mud.

“Dont worry, Miko. I will help you,” said Thanks calmly.

Thanks thought for a moment, then broke a long, strong branch from a tree with his trunk. He lowered the branch into the pit. “Hold this tight,” he said.

Miko grabbed the branch, and Thanks pulled him out with his strong trunk. Miko was safe, but covered in mud.

Miko felt very ashamed. “I always make fun of you for being slow, Thanks. But today you saved me. Thank you so much,” he said.

Thanks smiled and replied, “Friends dont count who is fast or slow, Miko. Friends help each other. That is what matters.”

From that day, Miko stopped being naughty and rude. He and Thanks became best friends. Miko would pick the highest fruits for Thanks, and Thanks would give Miko rides on his back.

*Moral: True friendship is about helping each other, not about who is bigger or faster.*
