- Choose a Chronic Disease
- Design an infographic focused on one chronic disease. Use reputable sources (such as CDC, NIH, Mayo Clinic, or WHO) to research and accurately present information.
- Design Your Infographic
- Use design tools (such as Canva, Piktochart, Adobe Express, etc.) to create an infographic that is visually engaging and easy to read. Your infographic must include the following:
- Disease Name: What is the name of the disease?
- Overview: What is the disease? How does it develop? How prevalent is it?
- Risk Factors: What increases a persons chance of developing the disease?
- Signs & Symptoms: What might someone with the disease experience?
- Impacts: How does this disease affect daily life and long-term health?
- Diagnosis: How is the disease diagnosed? What are common diagnostic tests, imaging, lab results, physical examination findings, or criteria used by healthcare providers to make the diagnosis?
