1. Choose a Chronic Disease
   • Design an infographic focused on one chronic disease. Use reputable sources (such as CDC, NIH, Mayo Clinic, or WHO) to research and accurately present information.
2. Design Your Infographic
   • Use design tools (such as Canva, Piktochart, Adobe Express, etc.) to create an infographic that is visually engaging and easy to read. Your infographic must include the following:
   • Disease Name: What is the name of the disease?
   • Overview: What is the disease? How does it develop? How prevalent is it?
   • Risk Factors: What increases a persons chance of developing the disease?
   • Signs & Symptoms: What might someone with the disease experience?
   • Impacts: How does this disease affect daily life and long-term health?
   • Diagnosis: How is the disease diagnosed? What are common diagnostic tests, imaging, lab results, physical examination findings, or criteria used by healthcare providers to make the diagnosis?
   • Treatment/Management: Common treatments or strategies to manage it.

   • List the sources where you found your information. APA format is not required; the organization/author, title, and publication date are sufficient.

   • Example: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a serious, progressive condition where the kidneys lose their ability to filter waste from the blood. One of the most important facts is that it often develops silently and is strongly linked to diabetes and high blood pressure. Early detection is critical because symptoms usually dont appear until significant damage has occurred. Managing blood pressure, blood sugar, and making healthy lifestyle choices are key to slowing the diseases progression. Without proper management, CKD can lead to kidney failure, requiring dialysis or a transplant.
