Late one rainy night, Aman was alone in his grandmothers old house. The electricity suddenly went out, and the only sound was the ticking of a clock downstairs. He lit a candle and noticed muddy footprints on the floor leading to the locked attic door. His grandmother had always warned him never to open it.
But curiosity pulled him closer.
As he touched the handle, the clock stopped ticking. Silence filled the house. Slowly, the attic door creaked open by itself. Inside, he saw an old mirror covered with dust. In the reflection, Aman saw someone standing behind him a pale woman smiling with dark hollow eyes.
He turned around quickly.
No one was there.
Then the mirror whispered softly, Dont leave me alone again.
