- Access the . As one of your guides to the doctoral journey, the DBA Checklist provides detailed information on everything that needs to be included in Sections 1, 2, and 3 of your doctoral study. In Section 1 as well as Section 3, you have to describe how your study may effect positive social change. This is important to note. As you are working on your doctoral study, you need to understand whom your study affects and what social problems your study may address.
- Review Section 1: Foundation of the Study from the appropriate research handbook. Note that there are separate handbooks for qualitative and quantitative studies.

- Review the pages in the DBA Doctoral Study Research Handbook that have to do with writing and aligning the problem, purpose, and research question for a DBA doctoral study.
Submit a 2- to 4-page analysis in which you:
- Analyze the alignment of the specific business problem statement, purpose, and research questions for each published study (one qualitative and one quantitative).
- Explain how the research methodology chosen for each study aided the author in answering the research question.
- Explain how the solution to the problem could create positive social change.
- Support your analysis and conclusions with references to the exemplars.
Your document should be 24 pages long (not including the list of references), but it is the quality of the work that is important, not the number of pages. Cite and reference all sources using APA format and style guidelines and submit in a single document.
