The purpose of this assignment is to explore a show or movie about youths and connect it to larger social issues/topics. More specifically, do the following:

• Pick a show or movie about youths to explore. The show should be from the 21st
• In essay form, answer the following question: What does your show/movie example tell us about society and the social construction of youths?
• You must include 5-7 outside sources (popular or scholarly) to help provide context for your discussion. You may use assigned readings, but those wont count toward the 5-7 outside sources. You dont need to cite material from the lectures; we will treat lectures as common knowledge shared by the class. You must also include specific examples from the show.

Papers should be approximately 4-6 typed double-spaced pages not including a page of references.
