Jing Zhou, a 52-year-old female, arrives for her appointment to discuss a group of symptoms that she is experiencing. Mrs. Zhou is concerned that she might be pregnant or that something else concerning may be happening. Her urine HCG test was negative. So, you continue with your history and exam. Mrs. Zhou states that her last menstrual period was 13 months ago, and she has had so many issues in the last year: trouble sleeping, problems regulating her temperature, vaginal dryness, and irritability.

Sebastian Oliver, a 59-year-old male, reports for his appointment to discuss his urinary problems. Mr. Oliver states that over the last several months he has had pain on and off in his lower abdomen and at times on his perineum between his testicles and anus. However, his most concerning problem has been pain with ejaculation, in addition to problems in trying to urinate.
