Purpose: The purpose of this discussion is to re-evaluate the students’ understanding of God as the Creator.
Initial Post : This is a two part initial post, with each part being a separate paragraph of 150 words:
- Paragraph 1 (150 words): In the Appendix of God Behaving Badly, Lamb offers four actions that God does in his chapter on Noah and the Flood. What picture does he paint about God and His relationship with humanity? According to Lambs first chapter, in what ways has humanity misunderstood God?
- Paragraph 2 (150 words): Lamb is also striving to overcome the belief that God is harsh and vindictive. If you were to perceive God as fascinating, relational, and good, how would that affect your life? What would you do differently?
Be sure to cite and reference both scripture and your textbook(s) in your posts.
Rubric: Quality of Post: Student referenced the readings and resources for the week in an integrated, thoughtful response.
