*Attached below is the picot assignment from last week that will be used for a guide for this assignment also the template is found below* For this weeks assignment, students are writing their PICO(T) question and problem statement. Use the feedback on the PICO(T) question and problem statement from last week’s discussion to complete your final draft. Additionally, students will answer the questions below, as well. This will get you started with the introduction and problem overview sections of your written research proposal. Remember to answer all questions with explanation and detail. Answer the questions below as part of your introduction and problem overview sections: Introduction: 1. What is the clinical problem/ research area you are interested in? 2. What sparked you to look up evidence about this problem (why is this topic important) will help you discuss more about the topic, including a concrete understanding of the topic. Overview of the problem: 3. How is this research important for the nursing profession? This will help you discuss why the problem is worth exploring. 4. What outcomes would you like to see as a result of this research study? (ex. changes in practice, changes in policy, etc) and include at least 3) Problem Statement format (same as discussion): There is a problem in or with ________ (topic). Despite ___________ (something that should be happening), _______ is occurring (provide supporting evidence after this statement). This problem has negatively impacted ______ (victims of the problem) because ________. A possible cause of this problem is __________. Maybe a study which investigates________ can help this situation. You will also have your PICO(T) question follow your problem statement such as the following: Intervention: In __________(P), how does __________(I) compared to __________(C) affect __________(O) within __________(T)?
