U.S. History Essay

This essay is an American history essay relating to the years of 1945-1990. The instructions for the project are located attatched below. Make sure to be very careful about following the instructions. This assignment is almost exactly the same as another assignment I did earlier in the class (attatched below) and that assignment I got an 82 on, so I need this one to be better than that. Please examine it and see what I did structurally and use it as a reference but then try and write an essay that is better than that one. There are also annotations from the person who graded my assignment so you can see what they are looking for in this essay as well. As far as citations, I would a very decent amount of them, at least as many as in the first essay.As far as sources for you to use, the required texts for this course are as follows:

James Baldwin, The Fire Next Time

Alice Echols, Daring to Be Bad

You can use any of these texts for writing the two essays. Make sure to site the sources as the teacher describes in the document. Additionally, there are a number of supplemental readings that she assigns every week that you may use for reference or quoting. Those are on the third page of the document that I attached containing the instructions for the essays. You can quote from anywhere in these sources. I also attatched the supplimental readings for week 9 and 10 that you can use. Just ensure that there is a good amount of quotes that are properly cited per the instructions please.
