The Commentary Paper Project Description and First Draft

The large purpose of this project is to respond to the ideas about the future of AI which you encoutered in the article your summarized in the first paper. IMPORTANT: your task is not to respond to the issue of AI in general, but rather to the ideas found in that specific article. This means that you wil have srick closely to responding to the contents of that text, not to the issue in general. The purpose of this project is to extend the conversation about the future of AI by adding your voice to the conversartion started by others. You should also assume that they have not read the article about AI you read and summarized in the previous paper. A brief summary of the text (I suggest not just taking your summary from the previous module because it is long, but writing a brief new one)

• Some kind of support and/or justification of your statement. No need to do extensive external research; this can come from your own experiences/thoughts.
• At least one “contribution to the conversation” using the Yes/No/Maybe structure we learned about.
• An explicit explanation of the importance of having this conversation now (so what/who cares)
