The Biological Blueprint: How Life Functions

Biology is the vast study of life, ranging from the microscopic machinery of a single cell to the complex interactions within global ecosystems. At its core, it seeks to explain how organisms grow, reproduce, and adapt to their environments.

1. Cell Theory

Living organisms must maintain a stable internal environment despite changes in the outside world. This process, called homeostasis, is why your body shivers when it’s cold to generate heat or sweats when it’s hot to cool down.
