Assignment 2 Instructions Use this as a template (without instructions) to organize and submit your work: Do not use outside sources. Use only your textbook and the TEDTalk. PART 1 – Content (10 points total) A- Main Point -maximum 125 words Clearly state the major point and only the main point of the TEDTalk. B- Textual Connection – maximum 250 words Clearly describe ONE point in common between both the talk and your textbook What overlaps between them and what did you learn from each source that expanded or changed how you understood the topic? Be very precise and specific. C- Personal Reflection – maximum 125 words Describe how this TEDTalk has impacted YOU on a personal level. For example you can examine how it made you feel; how it did or did not change how you think about the topic; what the take-home message was for you. Do not introduce new material from the talk or text in this section PART 2 – Grammar and Style (2.5 points) Use title headings for each section: A – Main Point B- Textual Connection C- Personal Reflection Clearly address all points asked for in the instructions.
