If not, shape your dissertation topic into a qualitative study that will fit the project in this class, which is a five-question interview, coding, and analysis, so it might help to shape your questions and methods appropriately to fit this. 🙂

For this assignment, consider a research problem that can be approached with a quantitative method of inquiry. You will be evaluated on how well your quantitative research questions align with your methods, methodology, and analysis.
If you’re doing a quantitative dissertation, please design your table around your dissertation! If not, shape your dissertation topic into a quantitative study that will fit the project in this class, which is a five-question Likert-scale survey and correlational analysis. It helps to shape your questions and methods appropriately to fit this. 🙂 Hint: use Spearman’s rank correlation for the analysis.
These are my questions. So Im doing a qualitative dissertation. The following research questions guide this study:
- How do mentorship programs impact the academic performance and college preparedness of male students of color in K-12 schools in the Mississippi Delta?
- Which specific elements of mentorship programs yield evidence for efficiency in enhancing college accessibility for male students of color in K-12 schools in the Mississippi Delta?
- What are the perceptions of male students of color in the Mississippi Delta regarding the influence of mentorship programs on their college readiness?
