Also, you will show the reader that you have read enough of the literature (academic and professional) to place your project in the context of what other studies have done and that you can differentiate good from inadequate research. You should focus primarily on the findings of other studies or papers on very similar topics to your research topic. 5. The proposed methods section should include a short explanation of the type of research you plan to conduct (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed method), methods of collecting data, sample characteristics, and sample size. 6.
