This week, you will conduct a Personal SWOT Analysis to evaluate your potential for a career in real estate.
SWOT stands for:
- Strengths
- Weaknesses
- Opportunities
- Threats
This analysis will help you reflect on your current skills, identify areas for growth, and plan for future success in your chosen real estate career path.
Preparation:
- You may use your textbook as one of your references.
- If youre unfamiliar with SWOT analysis, review the recommended resources provided in your course materials.
Paper Requirements:
- Cover Page (APA format)
- Introduction Paragraph: Briefly introduce your interest in real estate and the purpose of the SWOT analysis.
- SWOT Analysis Sections (Use headings for each):
- Strengths: What personal qualities, skills, or experiences will help you succeed?
- Weaknesses: What areas do you need to improve or develop?
- Opportunities: What external factors or trends could support your career growth?
- Threats: What external challenges or obstacles might you face in your career path?
- Conclusion Paragraph: Summarize your findings and how this analysis will help guide your career planning.
- Optional: You may include a SWOT chart or diagram as a visual aid, but it must be in addition to your written content.
- Reference Page: Include at least 4 references (2 must be from the APUS Library). Wikipedia is not an acceptable source.
Formatting & Submission:
- Use APA formatting throughout.
- Submit your paper as a Word document (.doc or .docx) in the Assignments area.
- Only Word documents will be accepted. Other file types will receive a zero.
- All submissions will be automatically checked through Turnitin for originality.
