Module 1 Objectives
By the end of this week you will be able to:
- Define social psychology. Name two key ideas that had a lasting influence on the field.
- Describe the ABC triad of social psychology.
- Explain how social psychology relates to other fields of study.
- Assess the different methods of data collection in social psychology.
- Describe the benefits and drawbacks of field experiments compared to laboratory experiments, and explain how correlational methods can describe the relationship between variables when traditional laboratory experiments cannot be used.
