Grading Requirements –

Introduction Paragraph: exceeds 3 sentences, begins with an engaging hook, introduces the narrative effectively, and includes a clear thesis statement.

Body: Personal narrative contains three paragraphs or more, exceeding 3 sentences. Clearly describes the experience, and contains effective transitions.

Conclusion Paragraph: exceeds 3 sentences, provides a thoughtful and reflective summary, clearly explains outcomes, their significance, and explicitly connects to growth or future relevance.

I will be graded on the above, organization , and writing mecanics.

It needs a hook, a clear problem, feelings and actions that drive the story, a meaningful lesson learned, and a thoughtful conclusion.

Please double space between paragraphs, as that is what their sample shows.

I don’t care what the essay is about. It does have to be about a personal growth.
