While there, observe the physical layout of the space from the perspective of an operations analyst. Look at how the layout supports or complicates the organizations ability to serve customers or operate efficiently.
Briefly describe the location and layout for your selected organization. Is it a service- or product-based organization? What did you notice about how the space is arranged (e.g., seating, stations, pathways, signage, workflow)? Include a quick sketch to illustrate the space.
Identify 1-2 layout challenges or limitations. What isnt working well? Share if you observed any congestion, wasted motion, confusion, or discomfort for staff or customers.
Recommend 23 changes you would suggest to improve the space. Explain how these changes would improve performance, safety, customer experience, or employee workflow.
