1.1 Organizational Change

After briefly describing an organizational change you have experienced, identify and discuss:

  • Environmental forces such as changing demographics, diversity, technology, political and/or economic factors that drove the need for change
  • Type of change that occurred (tuning, redirecting, adapting or overhauling)
  • The outcome why did or didnt the change achieve the intended results?

Identify and discuss two different roles you have played in implementing change. Have you been a change agent, initiator, implementer, facilitator or recipient? Briefly describe each role, what was accomplished, and how it made you feel. Do you have a preference for one role over another?
