Nurse executive role implementation project

Student will design, implement or evaluate a real nurse executive initiative within their clinical practicum organization, for example staffing models, policy development, leadership strategy, Quality Initiative and change management plans.

Possible Project Option

1. Workforce development or retention strategy
2. Quality improvement Initiative
3. Policy or protocol development
4. leadership response to a clinical or administrative issue
5. Cultural Competence enhancement plan

Required components

1. Organizational and system analysis
2. leadership and organizational theory application
3. Evidence- based Decision making
4. stakeholder and multi-disciplinary collaboration
5. Evaluation of outcomes and sustainability
