In this assignment, students will engage with current developments in global business by selecting and analyzing newspaper reports related to a multinational corporation of their choice. Students will select three news reports from English-language newspapers that are interconnected through their relevance to the global business strategy of the chosen company. They will summarize each report and write a short essay linking these reports, analyzing what they collectively reveal about the state of global business and the company’s strategy.

Assignment steps:

A. Selection of news reports:

1. Choose a multinational corporation to focus on.
2. Select three news reports from reputable English-language newspapers that relate to the global business strategy of the chosen corporation.
3. Ensure the news reports are recent (preferably published within the last 24 months) and interconnected.

B. Summary of news reports:

1. Students will write a brief summary of the three news reports.
2. The summaries should highlight the main points, arguments, and any relevant data or statistics from the articles.

C. Linking the reports:

1. Write a short essay analyzing what the three news reports collectively reveal about the state of global business and the chosen corporation.
2. Discuss the implications of these developments for the companys global strategy.
3. Link the reports together to show a coherent understanding of the interconnected issues and strategies.

• Submission requirements:Summaries: Three summaries (100 words each) of the selected news reports. Do no forget to share the URLs of the news reports.
• Essay: A short (1000 word essay) linking the three reports and analyzing their significance.
• Formatting options include single or double-spacing.
• Font size should be 12 pt. Students can choose their preferred font.
• Summaries and the essay will be in one single file.
• Acceptable file formats for submission are PDF, Word or Pages.
• Make sure to write your name on the paper.
• Other than these, there are no formatting or style requirements.
