Scenario:

An APRN in a family clinic is confronted with a young minor/teenager) patient presenting symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. The patient is too eager to obtain a medication prescription and is resistant to evaluation. Before any medication can be prescribed, the APRN must rule out pregnancy.
