Read and analyze the case study titled The Gig Economy: Uber and Lyft in the Public Policy Praxis textbook. You must address all the questions under the Questions to Consider section after the conclusion of the case study. Note that the first question in the policy analysis section requires you to complete a stakeholder analysis.

Stakeholder Analysis

A stakeholder analysis helps identify individuals or groups affected by a policy issue and assess their interests, influence, and potential impact on policy outcomes. In the case of Uber and Lyft, several key stakeholders emerge.

Your essay should go beyond the obvious and be written at a graduate level making sure to properly cite sources according to APA style guidelines. Your essay must be a minimum of 900 words (excluding the title and reference page) but may not exceed 1,500 words. Any resources including but not limited to journals, magazine, and/or books must be properly cited using the APA style. Make sure to incorporate at least three of the concepts from this weeks readings. The case of Uber and Lyft highlights several important concepts from public policy analysis, including policy trade-offs, regulatory frameworks, and incremental policymaking.
