This assignment will require you to closely examine some of those meanings and think about the extent and importance of those messages to sexual socialization and learning of young people today.
Choose a form of media from the following list:

Engage in critical analysis and discussion of that form of media, evaluating how important you think it is in the sexual socialization of young people in the US in a PowerPoint presentation. If you choose television, movies, music or advertising, you should engage in some form of historic overview, comparing examples of that media over time (i.e. songs from the 1960s, 1980s, 2000s and today) to show the shift or change in the sexual emphasis, degree of explicit content etc. of that form of media. You should also closely examine the actual content and comment as to how it contributes to sexual learning and socialization. You should include in your presentation examples of the media you are analyzing. Please consult academic sources as needed. There should be a minimum of three (3) academic sources used and cited.
