For this assignment you need to connect and improve the part I wrote and expand on it. Based on the requirement written in Section 5. There is an example down below. My topic is Tulip Commodity Chain and the section bein written is about sustability and interventions. Use the sources listed below in the section that I wrote as they are mandotary to use. I also put another sources you have to use below. Dont forget to connect it to circular economy.
This is the part that I wrote:
The tulip supply chain serves as an excellent example of an intricate relationship between sustainability and capitalism, which also shows the challenges and opportunities for creating a more responsible supply chain. Based on Tsings ( 2015) analysis of salvage accumulation, we discuss how the tulip industry exemplifies the entanglement of ecological sustainability with capitalist formations. Tsing the commodification of nature produces excess destruction, such as in the tulip supply chain where production is so excessive and markets so volatile that great quantities become waste. Flower her insights challenge us to think again about how we value flowers as commodities and in a wider ecological and social context.Furthermore, the governance approach of Kalfagianni and Pattberg (2013) which is, a key instrument for advancing sustainability in its own right, is also relevant in this context of the tulip supply chain. They stress the need for better stakeholder participation in the governance of function. In the tulip world, growers, distributors and consumers must come together to develop sustainable solutions to concerns about pesticide use, water usage and labor standards. The parties concerned can develop mutually beneficial processes which significantly reduce the ecological costs and at the same time provide enough opportunities for the economy of production. A synthesis of Tsings and Kalfagianni & Pattbergs perspectives demonstrates that the path toward sustainability in the tulip supply chain is complex and multifarious. This means accounting for the social-ecological impacts of production and for establishing collaborative governance arrangements that facilitate sustainable practices leading to a more accountable, and resilient floral industry.
