Hi, I would like you to write a strong research paper on LGBTQ+ topics. I already have the research proposal, but I want the research topic to be more specific, and the research should be thesis-based. I want you to use five credible outside sources in this essay, and you also have to connect the ideas from the course readings to the essay. I will provide those readings as well.
You also need to write five annotated bibliography entries for the five sources you find (not the course readings). In addition, please create a graph or visualization for this essay. I will attach the rubric below with the requirements. Please do not use AI or plagiarism, since this assignment is very important for my course. Also, please read all the instructions very carefully and make sure the essay meets all the requirements of the rubric.
“You will formulate a substantial research project in relation to one or more of the themes of the course. Your project should use the material from the course as a jumping off point, but your research should extend the topic beyond what we discussed in the course, and examine the topic in more depth.
1. the research essay (1500-2000 words, 6-8 pages double spaced), based on at least five strong* sources you’ve found in your research process. In this essay, you should use your sources to do one of the following:
- explain the context and present a range of information and/or perspectives on your topic, including an analysis of your sources.
- create a thesis-driven argument about your topic, including an analysis of your sources.
In your essay, you should also draw some clear connections between your topic/research and some of the themes and material of the course.
2. an annotated works cited document, which lists all the sources you used in your paper in MLA format, including any course readings you choose to use (which don’t count as one of your five required sources). For your five most relevant research sources, you should include a one-paragraph (150 – 200 words) annotation for each source that includes the following:
- a brief summary of the source.
- an assessment of its credibility, bias, and/or purpose
- a reflection of how the source is relevant to and fits into your research
- gives you more info on annotations
- I would advise dividing the 150-200 word annotation more or less equally between these three components
- shows you how to cite a wide range of source types, including interviews, emails, videos, etc
3. an information visualization, which will allow you to share an informational aspect of your research with the class and audiences beyond. Examples include: timelines, infographics, charts, graphs, posters, flyers/brochures. You can choose your medium, but your visualization should be clear and professional, and should communicate some informational aspect of your research.”
for the annotated bibliography: pls the sources should be credible and peer reviewed :
“Choose your five most relevant research sources for your final assignment.
For each of these five sources, please submit the source citation in MLA format, followed by a one-paragraph (150 – 200 words) annotation for each source that includes the following:
- a brief summary of the source.
- an assessment of its credibility, bias, and/or purpose
- a reflection of how the source is relevant to and fits into your research
- gives you more info on annotations
- I would advise dividing the 150-200 word annotation more or less equally between these three components
- shows you how to cite a wide range of source types, including interviews, emails, videos, etc “
