The final project for the course provides you with the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge you gained from taking the course. Please review the previous course material to refresh your knowledge as you prepare your final assignment for the course. Assignment Scenario: Your supervisor assigned you to a self-managed team. For the past few months, the team has been struggling with communication and missed deadlines. Thus, three targeted areas of improvement need to be addressed: Improved communication patterns, Improved motivational techniques, and Control systems to support the on-time completion of the team’s assigned tasks. For your assignment: Create a plan addressing these three areas to remedy the team’s challenges. In your plan include how each of the four primary functions of managers will contribute to remedying the team’s challenges. After creating the plan, design your process for introducing this plan to your team. Discuss how you will address possible team member resistance using your knowledge of change management processes to build relationships within the team and support these changes and the team’s success. Your plan should be 6-12 pages in length (not including title and reference pages) and include at least two references in addition to the textbook.
