PAPER #1 INTRO AND THESIS DUE (5-7 Sentences(via CANVAS by 11:59pm Write a well-worded introduction that engages your chosen topic (a specific comedian and/or work of comedy/humor) in an interesting and attention-grabbing way. This stylish and informative paragraph should begin with a hook, anecdote, a fact or interesting quote, some creative way to grab the readers attention. Most importantly, this intro must include your thesis statement. In the case of Paper #1, your thesis statement is essentially your argument/position/perspective about a specific comedian and their content or a work of satire or humor (Stand-up Comedy, TV series, animated or feature film, podcast, news show, illustration, ec.). It is possible for your thesis to contain more than one argument; in fact, it is encouraged that your argument contains multiple aspects that you will prove in separate, more developed body paragraphs during your paper.
