You need a practice ESS inquiry section that:
- Explains the environmental issue or topic in your case, stable functioning of marine ecosystems.
- Shows how your research question (RQ) fits into this issue. Your RQ:
- How does the time of day (morning vs late afternoon) affect TDS (total dissolved solids) and temperature in ocean water?
- Includes:
- Key terms: TDS, temperature, time of day, ocean water, marine life.
- A strategy related to the issue (e.g., Marine Protected Areas) that already exists.
- Tensions or different perspectives about that strategy (like ecological benefits vs human/socioeconomic costs).
- Arguments for each perspective.
- Your personal viewpoint on the strategy.
- Links your RQ to the environmental issue: your RQ measures abiotic factors that affect marine ecosystems.
- Uses credible sources (articles, NGO/GO websites).
- Stays between 400600 words.
Optional: You can include a hypothesis for how temperature and TDS change throughout the day.
