Reflective Case Study Report: 50%

Write a report about your chosen organisation incorporating key learnings from the class and your research while fulfilling assessment criteria 1, 2 & 3.

Purpose of the Task

A reflective case study enables students to engage in practical research tasks, to form opinions, reflect on relevant scenarios, and critical evaluation of real-time perspective. This assignment will assess Assessment Criteria 1, 2 and 3.

Assessment Criteria

Choose and research an organisation with a particular focus on current HRM issues.

1. Critically review the role and functionalities of HR in a business. With a brief insight into the current challenges, identify the issues hindering collective approach to achieve organisational goal in your chosen organisation. These must be real-life examples.

2. Establish the link between organisational success strategy, learning & development, and employee retention policy. Analyse how these are influencing your chosen organisations strategic growth

3. Refer to the theoretical concept of leadership & diversity management, rewards, and organisational culture. Critically evaluate the concept adapted by the organisation. Provide relevant examples and offer recommendations (include Maslows hierarchy of needs, transactional and transformational theories).
