This can be accessed through the Jerry Falwell Library Database. Here is a tutorial I shared last week on how to access the Library database and the Foundation Directory Online: . Identifying a potential funder is a very time-consuming process, but most grant seekers determine that it is well worth the effort. The objective of funding your research is to find funders who have the same interests and values in your organization. Download each Foundation profile from the Foundation Directory Online (I have attached a sample Foundation profile – it is also provided with this week’s material in the assignment instructions), save as a pdf file, highlight the 7 critical areas as shown in the attached sample, then upload in the system. Highlight the areas that align with your organizations needs. So, I should see 6 separate items uploaded in the system: the word document with your ranking and rationale and the 5 highlighted profiles in pdf. Do not include a link to the profile site inside of the Word document as I will not be able to open it. Also, you are NOT permitted to retype this information into a word document. However, you may copy and paste the full highlighted profiles into a Word document. Please provide a solid rationale for why you chose and ranked each funder/foundation, showing the distinction among the funders.
