Full Essay (4 points, based on thesis, logic & development, analysis & synthesis, research & evidence, language & tone)
Requirements (review the Grading Rubric):
- Thesis: You must include a unique and compelling statement in your introduction that responds to your research question. It is what you will argue throughout your paper. It must also be conveyed in the title of your paper.
- Length: 5 full pages (not counting Works Cited), double spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font. Follow MLA formatting.
- Citations: MLA format, with a Works Cited page. All quotes and any statistics require citations.
- Analysis: At least two specific observations you made in your reading notes/Perusall annotations.
- Evidence: At least 6 quotations total3 from the assigned works, 3 from your outside sources.
- Integration: All quotes must be introduced and discussed.
- Voice: No I or you.
