Fluency Strategies

Assume you are the teacher for the students in the ELM-316 Case Studies: Fluency Strategies template. Use the information from the case studies to determine the following:

• Student Academic Goal: In one sentence, state the academic goal for fluency that you would set for each case study student. When writing the goal, consider the grade level standard that the student should be mastering. The goal should be written using SMART parameters.
• Fluency Strategy: Identify and describe a specific strategy that could be employed to help the student build reading fluency skills and meet their goal.
• Implementation Schedule: In one sentence, recommend an implementation schedule for the strategy. Include the number of sessions and the length of each session.
• Research-Based Rationale: In 3-5 sentences, justify the selected strategy and implementation schedule by discussing why it is appropriate for that specific student. Cite at least one scholarly resource in each rationale.

Write a 150-300 word reflection explaining how engaging in reflective practices can assist in identifying and implementing strategies to meet the needs of all students and support them in achieving reading fluency goals. Highlight the importance of self-assessment and continuous improvement in instructional approaches.

Support your deliverable with a minimum of two scholarly resources.
