Project 2 provides an opportunity for candidates to earn 110 points by demonstrating an understanding of hypothesis testing and the relationship to the scale of measurement of data. Further, the project allows demonstration of a basic knowledge of using Excel analysis tools for computation of inferential statistics. The written component of the assignment allows demonstration of a basic understanding of the role inferential statistics plays in explaining how and why a specific conclusion is drawn about a population using sample data.
