This matchup will consist of player stats for NBA games February 22 – February 28. This assignment builds upon your Draft Analysis Worksheet and previous performance tracking, continuing to evolve with deeper analysis as the season progresses. Instructions: 1. Performance Tracking (Excel Sheet): Same as last week: Continue tracking your weekly performance using Excel or Google Sheets. Your performance sheet should now include: Points Rebounds Assists Steals Blocks Field Goal Percentage (FG%) Free Throw Percentage (FT%) Three-Pointers Made (3PM) Turnovers (TO) Opponent Score (Final Weekly Score Comparison) Same as last week: Track opponent performance as well to compare trends and competitive strategies. 2. Data Visualization (New Requirement – Multi-Line Graph for Trend Analysis): This week, you must create a multi-line graph to track trends in your team’s performance over time. A multi-line graph will allow you to see how your performance changes week-to-week and compare it against your opponents. Make sure your graph is labeled properly and easy to read. Example visualization options: Your Team vs. Opponent Performance Over Time (Separate lines for each key category) Tracking Individual Player Performance (Separate lines for top players in key categories like Points, Assists, or Rebounds) Category Trends Over Time (Example: One line for weekly average Points, another for Rebounds, etc.) (This is a step up from the stacked bar chart in Assignment #3, helping you recognize long-term trends!) 3. Analysis & Reflection: Same as last week: Write a short analysis (2-3 paragraphs) discussing: Strengths & Weaknesses: Which categories improved over time? Which categories are trending downward? Key Player Contributions: Are certain players consistently performing well or struggling? Head-to-Head Takeaways: Based on the trends, how can you adjust your strategy moving forward? 4. Building on Your Draft Analysis: Same as last week: Compare your draft expectations to reality. Look at your Draft Analysis Worksheet and discuss: Are your drafted players maintaining their value over time? Any surprises or disappointments? Any potential waiver wire pickups or trades needed to adjust to your team’s trends? 5.
