Disparities refer to differences in access, health care quality, or health care outcomes along lines of race or ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, age, socioeconomic status, and disability status. This paper will explore the causes, treatment or interventions, and outcomes of particular health/mental health problems or social/ environmental conditions that affect wellbeing at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
