Inform your peers in the medical field about medical terminology by describing the importance of understanding and accurately interpreting medical terms. Explain how to break down a medical term into word parts (prefix, combining form and suffix) and give the location and meaning of each part, as in which part comes at the beginning of a term, etc. Then highlight the importance of accurate interpretation of medical terms to the role of the healthcare administrator, discussing things like identifying potential errors and the administrative or legal consequences of incorrect interpretation.
