OVERVIEW
For this first written assignment, you will select and explain a topic. The topic should pertain to
an issue or problem in the field of education. You will investigate and develop this topic
throughout the entire course. After this assignment, you will complete a Planning Outline and
two Annotated Bibliographies that will assist you in gathering and organizing the most recent
scholarly information published about the topic. Each written assignment will contribute to the
Course Project: Final Paper Draft Assignment and your revised and finished version, the
Course Project: Final Paper Assignment.
All graduate and doctoral students must use the APA Professional Version of the title page. You
will find a template for the professional version in this module. This is to be used for every
assignment. Please be sure to use APA format, guidelines. Follow required rubric and example.
