Deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon

Research Proposal TA comment: This is an interesting project, but I don’t think it is suitable for this class. To begin, your project is reproducing research that has already been undertaken by remote sensing geographers. Additionally, I cannot tell a human geography component from your research proposal. You are welcome to discuss informal roads in the Brazilian Amazon, but I think you will need to reframe your project so that it is less focused on technical remote sensing procedures and more focused on the human geography of the region, which of course includes informal roads. Furthermore, your research proposal does not follow the guidelines I provided, which include utilizing 3 scholarly sources in your research proposal.
