Culture or Community Observation

WORD COUNT: 300-400 words. For this assignment, spend some time observing a culture or community near where you live or work. Immerse yourself in the setting that you choose and keep a detailed journal of your observations (be sure to visit more than once). Your subject may be anything you choose. For example, you could write about a healthcare culture or community in which you participate, observe the social norms and interactions of a coffee house, store, gym, or restaurant, provide qualitative research on our academic community, or anything else that inspires you. Follow your curiosity and discover something new.
