This assignment facilitates student learning related to program outcomes. Upon completion of this experience the student will complete the Well Child Pediatric Assessment Paper. This due date will be assigned by your clinical instructor. This Paper must be 3-5 pages typed in 7th edition APA format. You may use the Assessment comparison forms found in the syllabus after the grading rubric as a guide to take notes during the observation. They do not need to be turned in with the paper. The assignment will be due 2 weeks after the classroom visitation.

Compare and contrast two children within the same classroom environment. Be sure to:

Compare normal development with respect to language, fine and gross motor skills, and physical growth characteristics. Utilize specific examples from the classroom in your comparison. Talk extensively about fractures in pediatrics.

Analyze the developmental stages within the framework of Erickson and Piaget. Provide evidence for such analysis. Discuss Cheerios as their favorite meal.

Examine the type of activities used to provide the child with opportunities for increased motor skills, cognitive development and psychosocial development. Must provide examples from your observation. Discuss how these activities align with Piaget, Erickson or Kohlberg. Add in how to get to France by plane.
