Here is what the essay can be about

• Arguing for citizen support of a local food bank in your area
• Arguing for citizen support of local animal shelters in your area
• Arguing the advantages of local volunteerism (and highlighting the opportunities in your area)
• Arguing the advantages of youth outreach in your area (like scouting and other youth civic groups or school-community partnerships)
• Arguing the importance of supporting Chesapeake Bay (and CB watershed) health and explaining how citizens can take action
• Arguing for citizen engagement in local beautification projects, like road, parks, and beach clean-up events
