Career Playbook

This should be a fun and useful assignment to get you thinking about how you can intentionally approach your career to build the life you want.

  1. Page 1: Three guiding values (approximately 1/2 to 1 pages of text)
    1. Outline your top three professional values (or personal values if that guides your career decisions) and why they matter to you. Ive provided afrom Brene Brown that can help you. Please note that the worksheet has you identify two values, and Im asking you to list three.
  2. Page 2: A visual that you create to represent your creative process, along with a short paragraph on your creative process.
  3. Page 3: Your 1-, 3-, and 5-year goals with a minimum of 2 concrete steps (specific, measurable, realistic, and time-bound) to help you get there. Note that generic steps will not get full credit. They should be very specific and time-bound.
  4. Page 4: A reflection of what you view as your top three strength and the top three areas you feel like you need to grow to be who you want to be as a professional. Be specific here on why you think those are your strengths and weaknesses.
  5. Page 5: What does the good life look like for you? What are you aiming for?
