agencies and I completely understand if the agency that you select to
research does not allow visits then it is completely acceptable to do the
research through the internet but I highly recommend also including an
interview with the agencies management, this can include a phone
interview, contact by phone and follow up questions with an email, or even
a ZOOM call. Please troubleshoot and select the best for you and the
agency involved.
Most important is to include in the paper apsychological concept. For
example, dementia, Alzheimer, cognitive concepts,physical concepts,
Parkinson. Must be in APA format see resources inmodules.

1. Research/Visit/Tour/Explore an agency and research the following- please expand, the
completion of the project should go beyond the following:
a. Select an agency in Kane, Kendall, or DuPage County and organize a
visit/tour/interview within the agency- (see above limitations)
b. What are the ages of the clients that are eligible for services?
c. Discover all the services the agency provides, through tours, visit, and
interviews.
d. What does a typical day consist of for clients?
e. Are there specific programs available within the agency?
f. Why are most clients utilizing or staying with the agency?
g. Decide the psychological concept that you will also research and add to
final paper.
h. Expand as you see fit……………..
Examples may be: Any Assisted Living through-out the county, Aunt Marthas
Youth Service Agency, DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau, Agencies that are
affiliated with local Sheriff or Police Departments, Homestead, Heartland
Counseling and Mental Health Services in Elburn, Nursing home, or Rehab places,
Symphony, Alden, WIC program, Tri-City Family Services, Equine Therapy,
Hessed House, Lazarus House, Marklund, Harvesting Hope, etc……..

learned, and/or opinion, newly gained knowledge, and research.
