Play Therapy Research Paper

Students will write a research paper on various forms of play therapy: tele-play therapy, digital play therapy, relational cultural play therapy, the use of artificial intelligence in play therapy, or animal assisted play therapy in relation to your play therapy theory of choice. The research paper must be 12 pages, should use proper APA format, and should include at least 10 scholarly sources. You may use your books and two of the articles used in class.

The paper should include:

1. Write a title page in APA format (refer to p. 61 of your manual) (1 page),
2. Begin with an introduction (1 page),
3. Provide a review of relevant literature related to one of the topics listed above (3 pages),
4. Summarize the key points of the theory you selected for this paper (1 page),
5. Identify specifics of the approach and how it relates to your selected theory (2 pages),
6. Discuss cultural and social diversity factors for play therapy of your theory and this approach (2 page),
7. Include a conclusion paragraph summarizing the entire paper (1 page),
8. Write a references page with your 10 scholarly sources (refer to pp. 66-67 in your manual) (1 page).
