- Your audience for the brief includes government officials at the local, state, regional, or national level. Remember to write in a way that is easily understandable to government officials who may have little understanding of nursing, healthcare, or scientific evidence/research. Simply putthe brief has to be easy to read and easy to understand. Brevity, clarity, and a good visual presentation are critical.
