Write a 750 to 1,000-word essay that examines literary techniques used in reporting on the 9/11 Terror Attacks. Techniques that enhance storytelling and create meaning include but are not limited to plot/structure, scene, dialogue, historical context, point of view, voice, life status, place, ethics and moral or emotional core.
You must select one story to examine about the events that day and post 9/11.
Use the library database to find a story. There are many to choose from.
The story you select must be a narrative and not a news report. If you are not sure, please ask me.
Consult concepts from Telling True Stories to guide your examination of how small parts affect the whole piece (pages 86-88). Provide specific examples of literary devices and include short quotes to exemplify points and support your argument/thesis statement.
Use the reference style of your choice (APA, MLA, Chicago) for quotes and other attributable information, just be consistent.
Also, ensure your conclusion is clear, well-written and summarizes the essence of your essay. In addition, submit the essay in .doc format, not as a PDF, and, as a friendly reminder, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, including Grammarly, is prohibited in the writing and editing of essays in this course.
