3 57 – Therapy Resource: Apraxia of Speech Treatment

Purpose: Explore a range of apraxia of speech treatment approaches to enhance preparedness for future clinical practice.

Initial Post: Your textbook provides four categories of therapy for Apraxia of Speech, with multiple subtypes. In a slide presentation:

  • Identify and explain the four therapy categories and each subtype.
  • Select one subtype for the selected subtype, include a specific example task or activity that shows how you would implement that specific therapy approach (Hint: textbook pages 211-216 provide all therapy information).

In your slides:

  • Include 4 slides.

  • This slide count requirement does not include the title slide and/or reference page slide.
  • You are not required to have a voice over, narration, and/or video presentation.
